The Joint Industry Board for Electrical Contracting Industry is mainly engaged in the Construction Industry and undertakes a wide variety of work, ranging from a simple electrical installation within a private house to the electrical work associated with the construction of a power station by its members, ranging from firms employing one man to firms employing more than a thousand. It employs a large number of skilled apprentice served, qualified electricians & techincians comprise 90% of its labour force.
